MEET THE CONDUCTOR

CARALEE DUFFIN 

Caralee brings enthusiasm and a real sense of fun to our string orchestra. A keen musician, she believes that making music should be about enjoyment and making music fun.

Away from the orchestra, Caralee is a Maths teacher, combining her love of numbers with her love of music. She is a talented violin and viola player and also enjoys folk music, playing in a ceilidh band regularly.

As our conductor, Caralee encourages everyone to get involved, whatever their age or ability. With her positive approach, she aims to make rehearsals both productive and enjoyable, creating an atmosphere where musicians feel encouraged and confident.

Above all, Caralee loves sharing her passion for music with others. Her enthusiasm is infectious, and she brings a wonderful combination of musicality, humour and encouragement to every rehearsal – helping our orchestra to sound its best while, most importantly, having fun along the way!
